Kailua2ya has it's origins with a desperate search for a wellness check agency for a family member on the brink of discharge from rehab who could no longer be left home alone.  It was a choice of moving them to a private care home - impossible to find a convenient and affordable one - or giving up a fulltime career to become a caregiver.  Desperately needed was a daily spot-check visit at the house to ensure safety, nourishment and medical wellbeing  ... and found no such service.  

 

The drive to fill this void was strong.  Knowing first-hand the fragility of our kupuna who are aging in place... many alone in their homes, for hours or days on end, with no one physically checking on them... Kailua2ya was formed.

Since home visits are the core of our services we added pet care and house checks to create a triage of offerings.  With decades of experience tending to a myriad of pet types with various levels of care, we love them all like our own.  From housesitting at many homes through the years, we are astute at what our clients need and will customize services accordingly.
